Art Design Consultants in Cincinnati has been conducting an art competition for 10 years known as “Art Comes Alive,” which has grown to international stature. After William Duebbler, a talented artist, passed away several years ago, his children created an award in his name. This year, Jolie Harris, whose artwork is abstract expressionism, received that award.

One Each: Still Lifes by Cézanne, Pissarro and Friends focuses on still life paintings by five French painters, all created in the mid-1860s, the formative years of Impressionism. This single-gallery special exhibition, organized in partnership with the Toledo Museum of Art, will be on view at the Cincinnati Art Museum from May 15–August 9, 2020.

The Taft Museum of Art presents N. C. Wyeth: New Perspectives (February 8 through May 3, 2020), the first exhibition in almost 50 years to examine in-depth the entirety of N. C. Wyeth’s (1882–1945) multifaceted body of work. This landmark exhibition brings together approximately 50 of Wyeth’s adventure-packed, large-scale paintings and private works for its final destination and only Midwest venue.

Well, Art Design Consultants (ADC) always goes big, so two doors are opening because they are moving from their Culvert Street location to TWO new locations — O’Bryonville and the West End. Some say 10,000 square feet of gallery space is plenty, but this expansion will nearly double ADC’s current square footage to combined square footage of 18,000.
